Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

  • Nobis Group is committed to protecting the privacy of every person we work with. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

  • We may collect personal information when you interact with us — through our website, contact form, email, or directly as part of a coaching engagement. This may include:

    • Your name, email address, phone number, and organisation

    • Information you share in response to our contact form or enquiry fields

    • Professional background and context relevant to coaching work

    • Any other information you choose to provide during our engagement

We do not collect sensitive information (such as health information) without your explicit consent, and only where it is directly relevant to the coaching work we undertake together.

  • We collect information:

    • Directly from you — when you complete our contact form, send us an email, or engage with us as a coaching client

    • Through our website — via standard web analytics (see Cookies section below)

We do not purchase or acquire personal information from third parties.

  • We use your personal information to:

    • Respond to your enquiries and facilitate coaching engagements

    • Deliver and improve the services we provide

    • Communicate with you about upcoming sessions, programs, or relevant updates (with your consent)

    • Meet our legal and professional obligations

We will not use your information for any purpose that is incompatible with why it was collected, without first obtaining your consent.

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information with:

    • Trusted third-party service providers who support our operations (e.g. scheduling or communication tools), under confidentiality obligations

    • Professional supervisors or peer consultants, in a de-identified form only, as part of our commitment to ethical coaching practice

    • Regulatory or legal authorities, where required by law

Any organisation we work with in relation to your information is required to handle it in a manner consistent with this policy.

  • Coaching conversations are confidential. Information shared within a coaching engagement is not disclosed to third parties — including your employer or organisation — without your explicit consent, except in circumstances where there is a risk of serious harm to you or others, or where disclosure is required by law.

Where NOBIS is engaged by an organisation on behalf of an individual, we will be transparent about what, if any, reporting occurs — and this will always be agreed with all parties in advance.

  • Your personal information is stored securely and protected against misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. We take reasonable steps to ensure the security of all information we hold, both digitally and in physical form.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law.

  • Our website may use cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site. This data is collected in aggregate and is not used to identify individuals. You can disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.

  • You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request corrections if that information is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. To make a request, please contact us using the details below.

We will respond to access and correction requests within a reasonable timeframe, and in accordance with the APPs.

  • If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us in the first instance. We will investigate and respond to your complaint promptly and fairly.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC): www.oaic.gov.au | 1300 363 992
